Louis J. Scannicchio is the founder of LJS Law, LLC, a law firm he established in 2019 after a decade-long career as an associate attorney at Pellegrini & Cristiano. With extensive experience in real estate taxation, particularly in tax appeal matters throughout Cook County, Louis also handles transactional real estate work, business law, and estate planning. Growing up in the real estate field, Louis aimed to develop a skill set that would enable him to support his family's real estate business and other property managers, landlords, owners, and investors.

He envisioned starting a law firm that would serve as a "one-stop shop" for real estate professionals, eliminating the need to seek different attorneys and firms for various legal needs. Louis went to Boston University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2010. After college, he returned home to Chicago and attended The John Marshall Law School where he worked for the Fair Housing Clinic and was a member of the Justinian Society of Lawyers.
